Shipbuilders of the Amur Shipbuilding Plant (Komsomolsk-on-Amur) brought out the last (sixth) block of the "Amurets" dock pontoon (project 65911) from the workshop. This was reported by the press service of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC).
The ship repair facility of the technical fleet is designed to ensure the transportation of all ships and vessels under construction and under repair from dry factory slipways to the outfitting pier. The previous blocks of the "Amurets" dock pontoon were brought out in stages from autumn 2024 to spring 2025.
All blocks are fully painted, equipped with main pipeline systems and fittings. At the open slipway of the enterprise, work will begin on стыковке blocks of the "Amurets" dock pontoon.
Project 65911 was developed by specialists from the "Almaz" Design Bureau. "Amurets" was laid down in Komsomolsk-on-Amur in June 2023. The dock pontoon will be included in a new transport and launching complex for the construction of large displacement ships.
