Three Ansat helicopters with domestic VK-650V engines to be assembled in Russia by the end of 2025

Take-off weight of the rotorcraft - up to 3.6 tons

By the end of 2025, three Ansat helicopters with domestic VK-650V engines will be assembled in Russia. Two new power plants have already been installed on a prototype aircraft.

The take-off weight of the Ansat is 3.6 tons, 7 people on board, length 13.5 meters and 2 VK-650V engines. The helicopter is part of the model range of the Kazan Helicopter Plant.

The import-substituted Ansat will increase its flight range from 505 km to 660 km, will receive new avionics, autopilot, and an upgraded heating and ventilation system. Also, domestic LED lighting equipment was installed on the updated Ansat.

Earlier, Rostec refuted rumors on the Web about the suspension of operation of Ansat helicopters, stating that there are no objective reasons for this.
