A contract for the supply of 76 Su-57 aircraft to the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) was concluded at the Army-2019 forum. Currently, the supply of fighters to the troops is ongoing under this order.
The total number of Su-57s already in service is unknown, as this data is classified.
At the same time, according to indirect data from open sources, it can be concluded that the Russian Aerospace Forces currently have more than 20 such aircraft.
The Su-57 is a fifth-generation fighter that has proven its effectiveness in countering any Western air defense systems in real combat conditions. The aircraft is capable of using a wide range of guided high-precision weapons and is characterized by low visibility to radars.
