Russian 4++ generation Su-35S fighters with a modern radar station (RLS) are replacing the A-50 "flying radars", according to the Telegram channel Fighterbomber.
The Su-35S has been forced to, but quite confidently and vigorously, replace the A-50. You see the result in the news.
The Su-35S carries an N035 Irbis phased array radar on board. It can detect and transmit data on 30 air targets. The detection range of large targets is 400 km.
