The S-350E Vityaz anti-aircraft missile system has become a reliable shield for the Russian military against air threats, Rosoboronexport's press service reported.
S-350E Vityaz is designed to protect administrative, industrial and military facilities from massive attacks by modern and advanced air attack weapons.
The system's capabilities include all-round defense from extremely low to high altitudes, engaging a wide range of targets — aircraft, cruise missiles, helicopters, UAVs and tactical missiles.
The advantages of the SAM system are a large ammunition load on one launcher, a high degree of automation that minimizes the influence of the human factor, and flexibility in integrating into existing customer defense systems.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a network of acoustic sensors for detecting UAVs has been developed in Russia.
