Industrial facilities in the border regions of Russia have begun to be equipped with a network of acoustic sensors for early detection of unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported by the Chechen design bureau "Tallamkho".
The acoustic sensor network is used to protect large-area industrial facilities in the Belgorod region. It allows detection equipment to be placed at a great distance from the facility itself.
Tallamkho clarified that acoustic sensors detect drones at a distance of 200 to 500 m, depending on the type of aircraft. The sensors are installed with a spacing of 500 m to 1 km.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a Russian Su-34 fighter successfully landed with a cockpit canopy that burst at an altitude of 10 km.
