National Media Group, which owns channels such as STS, REN TV, Izvestia, and the Wink online cinema, has announced the launch of its own application for short vertical videos called "Stories." This was announced by Svetlana Balanova, CEO of NMG.
In the near future, the new application will begin operating in test mode, Balanova said. Access to it will be provided only by special invitations.
The platform will feature short vertical videos created by professional directors and operators, not amateurs. Balanova noted that NMG strives to have "unlimited inventory in all environments."
Today, there is no such offer at all on the Russian market. All social networks that exist are still user-generated content, even if it is filmed relatively professionally somewhere. We are talking, first of all, about a platform only for professional short content.
At the initial stage, specially adapted series from the Domashny TV channel, which is part of NMG, will appear in the "Stories" application. They will be converted into short videos lasting about one and a half minutes. In the future, reality shows and series from other холдинг channels will also be presented on the platform.
