The military aircraft was parked at the Ain Beida/Oum el Bouaghi airbase.
The publication claims that four more Su-35s with the identification marks of the Algerian Air Force are located on the territory of the aircraft enterprise in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The fighter was transported by air on an An-124.
Journalists added that these Su-35s were originally intended for Egypt, which abandoned the fighters under political and economic pressure from the United States.
In March, it became known that the Air Force (AF) of Algeria received an unknown number of Su-35 fighters of Russian production, becoming the fourth operator of this type of aircraft in the world after Russia, China and Iran. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has not officially reported this.
