The "ODK-UMPO" enterprise is completing bench tests of the second industrial engine AL-41ST-25. The next stage will be its pilot operation at the "Arskaya" compressor station, the United Engine Corporation (ODK) said.
The head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, called the creation of the industrial engine AL-14ST-25 in Ufa an industrial revolution. He emphasized the scale of the work carried out by the employees of "ODK-UMPO".
In fact, this is a new engine that meets very high requirements. It is more economical, environmentally friendly, and technologically advanced. This is a kind of industrial revolution in mechanical engineering, in engine building in particular.
The industrial engine AL-41ST-25 is a key element of gas pumping units, providing the necessary pressure at the compressor station during gas transportation through main gas pipelines.
The calculated efficiency of the AL-41ST-25 is 39.1% with the possibility of a phased increase to 40%. The calculated efficiency of analogues does not exceed 38.5%. The engine meets Russian and international environmental standards and will operate for at least 120 thousand hours. Its predicted resource will grow to 150 thousand hours.
