New PAK DA military aircraft: work is on schedule

Rostec will maintain the necessary aircraft parameters specified in the technical specifications

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) is carrying out work on the project of the Prospective Aviation Complex for Long-Range Aviation (PAK DA) in accordance with the approved schedule. This was reported by Mash News.

The company noted that the necessary aircraft parameters specified in the technical specifications will be maintained. The Prospective Aviation Complex for Long-Range Aviation or "Product 80" is a project of a Russian next-generation strategic bomber-missile carrier. The military aircraft is a development or modernization of existing aircraft, and a completely new aircraft.

The new bomber-missile carrier is being developed according to the "flying wing" aerodynamic configuration. This design allows it to avoid detection by enemy radar systems, making it more effective when penetrating well-defended airspace.

According to data from open sources, the PAK DA's flight range will be up to 12,000 km, and the duration will be up to 30 hours, which will allow the crew to carry out long-range missions without refueling. The aircraft will be able to carry hypersonic missiles.

Earlierwww1.ru reported thata kamikaze drone bomber "Varan-3" has been developed for the military, the first test shots have appeared.
