5.6 mm caliber ammunition was supplied to the Moscow School of Olympic Reserve

The Central Research Institute for Precision Machine Engineering (JSC "TsNIITOCHMASH", part of the "Kalashnikov" concern) has shipped a batch of 5.6 mm (.22LR) "Olimp-BI" cartridges to one of the Moscow schools of the Olympic reserve, where future biathletes train.

«Olimp-BI» cartridges are distinguished by stable accuracy, high precision, power and low recoil. Due to careful precision weighing of gunpowder and manufacturing of the cartridge case, the possibility of the cartridge case rupture is prevented, and thanks to the use of a high-quality primer, misfires are excluded.

With an optimal bullet weight ratio of 2.7 g and an initial velocity of 315 m/s, its wind resistance is significantly increased while maintaining maximum shooting accuracy.

Thanks to these properties, «Olimp-BI» cartridges are highly valued by biathletes: their main customers are the Russian Biathlon Union, shooting federations, sports schools and clubs.
