Combat experience has demonstrated that factory-made "barbecues" save Russian tanks not only from FPV drones, but even from anti-tank guided missiles and Javelin. This was reported by the press service of Uralvagonzavod (part of Rostec).
The company noted that combat vehicles arriving from Russian defense industry enterprises are initially equipped with standard visors.
Tank unit servicemen acknowledge that the unified protection of armored vehicles is "very useful" for them.
Standard electronic warfare equipment is installed on tanks coming off the assembly line. The improvement of these electronic means forces a continuous confrontation with the enemy.
A tank was and remains a formidable weapon. And the tasks facing it are still the same: direct fire and work from closed firing positions to suppress enemy firing positions identified by reconnaissance, a tank breakthrough, and infantry support.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Russian military received "Zavet-D" — individual protection against high-precision projectiles.
