The machine tool holding company "STAN" has developed an industrial press for profile parts in the aviation, transport and railway industries. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.
The new press allows you to work with blanks up to 6.5 meters.
The new press has a crossbow-like design. It is equipped with a T-shaped frame with a front part — a table where the workpiece is placed, as well as side consoles, which are called "wings". Due to the operation of hydraulic cylinders, the "wings" smoothly bend the workpiece, and a special clamping mechanism ensures the accuracy and precision of the part bending.
The production process is fully automated due to the huge provision of its own development. The bending speed is regulated with an accuracy of up to a millimeter per second.
