Patrol ships of project 23550 are capable of overcoming ice up to 1.7 meters thick. In the version of the ships for the Russian Navy, it is assumed that the ship's armament will include a 76.2-mm artillery installation.
It is possible to place eight cruise missiles "Caliber-K" and / or anti-ship missiles "Uran" in two container launchers. The icebreaker is also capable of carrying a helicopter.
