The «Simaz» enterprise announced the launch of mass production of a new medium-capacity passenger bus. Production will be налажено in September this year.
The plan for this year is at least 100 vehicles.
The Minister of Industry, Investment and Science of the Ulyanovsk Region, Sergei Vasin, said that the new bus is intended for urban passenger transportation and will meet modern requirements for comfort and safety.
This semi-low-floor bus has an engine located at the rear. The body is 9.5 meters long and can accommodate 72 passengers, 29 of whom can be seated.
According to Vasin, the plant plans to produce 800 buses of the entire product line by the end of the year.
This is more than twice the number of buses produced in 2024, when 320 units were produced.
