The automaker "KamAZ" sent a KamAZ-62825 electric trolleybus with an extended autonomous range for a test drive in Yoshkar-Ola. This was reported by the press service of the State Unitary Enterprise (GUP) of the Mari El Republic "Trolleybus Transport".
During the test drive, KamAZ specialists will demonstrate the technical and ergonomic characteristics of the trolleybus to their colleagues from "Trolleybus Transport", and residents of Yoshkar-Ola will be able to appreciate the comfort.
The trolleybus will also travel on streets where there is no contact network. After the introduction of KamAZ-62825 in the city, trolleybus routes may be extended.
The body of the transport is low-floor, three-door. The length of the trolleybus is 12.4 m, the passenger capacity is 85 people. There are 34 seats and 3 folding seats. Thanks to energy storage devices, the KamAZ-62825 will travel up to 30 km in autonomous mode.
