The Vector Research Institute (part of the Roselectronica holding) has presented an improved drone electronic warfare (EW) system "SERP-VS13D".
The main feature of the new product is the expansion of operating frequencies from six to thirteen, which allows neutralizing even those drones against which standard electronic warfare equipment was powerless.
The new model retains the key advantages of previous versions: a combination of a high-precision detector and electronic warfare complex.
The complex allows effectively suppressing almost "indestructible" Autel Robotics EVO Max 4T quadcopters using electronic warfare, which survive in a battle with conventional electronic warfare systems due to the wide frequency range control function.
"SERP-VS13D" creates a reliable security dome, effective against both single drones and group attacks. The system operates in automatic mode or under manual control, adapting to the tasks of the protected perimeter.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev proposed deploying laser systems to protect against UAVs.
