Processing metal up to 82 mm thick: a new plate bending machine was put into operation at KMZ

The Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) military-industrial holding has put into operation a FACCIN HAV 2562 3-roll plate bending machine capable of processing metal up to 82 mm thick. The equipment is used in the manufacture of tanks. This was reported by the holding's press service.

The introduction of a new machine of this class will allow KMZ to significantly increase production volumes and expand the range of products.

The company will be able to manufacture large diameter tanks with increased strength. The standard volume of containers is from 60 m³ to 5000 m³, the material is stainless, carbon, low-alloy steel.

KMZ produces horizontal and vertical tanks for storing liquids and fuel. They can be used to transport petroleum products, including diesel fuel, gasoline, and fuel oil.
