The frigate "Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov" of project 22350 has entered the Barents Sea to perform combat training tasks as part of the planned combat training activities. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
At the sea ranges, the crew will practice single ship training activities, including tasks for air defense and anti-submarine defense, as well as organizing anti-robot defense of the ship.
The frigate "Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov" is a modern multi-purpose ship, a carrier of high-precision long-range missile weapons.
The "Gorshkov" was accepted into the Navy in 2018, and in 2021 the frigate was modified and equipped with hypersonic missiles "Caliber", "Onyx" and "Zircon". The ship is capable of delivering precise and powerful strikes against the enemy at sea and on land.
