The General Director of Roscosmos, Dmitry Bakanov, is convinced that manned flights to other planets in the Solar System are possible only with the direct participation of Russian technologies and experience.
If we remove the political aspect, then, despite the sanctions, we continue to interact with America on manned spaceflight. As you know, missions to other planets are planned, which will be impossible to implement without the competence of the Russian Federation.
Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries and Head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, had previously had a conversation with Bakanov on the topic of possible joint space exploration with the United States. They also touched upon the issue of conquering Mars.
Dmitriev believes that Russia's experience is more than enough to guarantee a long-term human presence in space. If Russian researchers unite international space missions, the study of the Red Planet will become more effective.
