The detachment of ships participated in joint maneuvers with the Pakistani Navy in the Arabian Sea

A detachment of ships from the Russian Navy conducted a joint exercise with the Pakistani Navy in the Arabian Sea, as reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Russia was represented in the maneuvers by a detachment of ships from the Pacific Fleet, consisting of the corvettes "Aldar Tsydenzhapov" and "Rezkiy" of Project 20380, as well as the tanker "Pechenga."

Project 20380 corvettes are designed to destroy enemy submarines and surface ships, solve various tasks in the near sea zone, and provide landing support.

The ships' armament includes launchers for anti-ship missiles "Uran" or "Caliber-NK", an anti-aircraft missile system, artillery mounts, machine gun mounts, and grenade launchers. They have anti-torpedo and anti-submarine defense.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that specialists turned a kamikaze drone into a missile, accelerating it to 280 km/h.
