A series of solar flares will trigger a powerful magnetic storm on Earth on March 20. This is evidenced by data from the IZMIRAN Space Weather Center.
The peak of the magnetic storm is expected from 10:00 to 12:00 Moscow time, its intensity will reach 5 points on the geomagnetic scale. In the evening, the strength of the oscillations will increase to 6 points.
The magnetic storm may be associated with recent solar flares. It can affect the health of people susceptible to changes in the geomagnetic field.
According to experts, a large number of solar flares and magnetic storms are expected in the second half of March.
