Russian military personnel have equipped the Tigr-M armored vehicle with a universal Arbalet combat module. The footage appeared on social networks.
The automated module is designed to destroy enemy manpower, firing points, vehicles and aerial targets. The Arbalet can be installed on tracked and wheeled armored vehicles, surface ships and stationary object protection points.
The module is equipped with a 12.7 mm or 7.62 mm tank machine gun, and is a rotating platform on which weapons with ammunition, aiming drives and a sighting and observation complex with a laser rangefinder are mounted.
The operator's workplace includes remote weapon controls, a digital panel with a built-in ballistic computer, and is located inside the habitable hull of the installation object.
The Triton electronic warfare system provides protection for the crew against air attacks.
