Russian T-72B3M Tank Survives Five Kamikaze Drone Strikes and Continues Operation

The crew extinguished the fire on their own and completed the combat mission

Russian tankers completed the tasks assigned by the command on a T-72B3M tank that survived five kamikaze drone strikes. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The tank crew, under the command of platoon commander with the call sign Valuy, was tasked with supporting infantry actions with fire from closed firing positions.

In total, the combat vehicle survived five hits from FPV drones. The tank crew extinguished the fire on their own, completed the task and returned alive.

Т-72BЗМ is an improved version of the Т-72B3. According to the manufacturer of the vehicle, Uralvagonzavod, the tank is equipped with a more advanced 125-millimeter gun, Relikt dynamic protection, a highly automated fire control system, and high-powered ammunition.
