Уменьшили риски: c большей части российских самолетов сняли иностранную регистрацию

345 Aircraft Registered in Russia

In 2024, 354 aircraft were removed from the registers of foreign states, and 216 of them were purchased for Russian airlines. This is more than half of the Russian fleet, according to Rosaviatsiya materials.

Foreign registration prevented aircraft from operating international flights. Now they have received Russian registration.

The re-registration of aircraft became possible thanks to cooperation with foreign authorities, who helped to remove the aircraft from foreign registers. Some of the aircraft were purchased by Russian airlines, and in some cases, it was possible to reach an agreement with leasing companies. Previously, these aircraft were leased and registered in Bermuda and Ireland.

In September 2023, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development Ilya Torosov reported that Russian airlines had applied to buy out foreign aircraft for a total amount of about 100 billion rubles. The process was expected to be completed in 2024.

As of January 2025, approximately 300 aircraft of Russian airlines still remain registered in Bermuda.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the European Union approved the 16th package of sanctions against Russia.
