Crews of the Bastion coastal defense missile systems (CDMS) of the Northern Fleet practiced tasks to destroy a detachment of mock enemy ships with Oniks anti-ship missiles in the Barents Sea.
The division of coastal Bastions, mobile coastal air and sea situation reconnaissance systems were involved in the implementation of training tasks. During the missile launches, the missilemen carried out a number of measures to counter drones and camouflage positions.
Bastion is designed to protect a sea coast with a length of over 600 km and to engage surface ships of various classes.
