Engineers from the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University named after R. E. Alekseev have developed an innovative hydrogen power plant. A special feature of the system is the presence of comprehensive protection; the engine has already received the necessary patent.
Each critical parameter of the unit is controlled by several independent methods. This approach ensures not only timely detection of potential problems, but also their prompt prevention.
The unit is placed in a special fireproof cabinet, which is divided into four parts. The walls of the cabinet are made of thick-sheet steel and are complemented by insulation panels with fire-resistant characteristics.
The compartments contain a fuel line, a hydrogen storage unit, the "brain" of the unit in the form of a computer, and a fuel cell for generating electricity.
