The United Engine Corporation (UEC) has commissioned a new production facility at the UEC-Kuznetsov enterprise in Samara. Turbine wheels and nozzle vanes for aviation and industrial power plants are manufactured here.
Increasing production space will expand the production of industrial engines. Russian companies are interested in launching the production of the NK-36ST engine with a capacity of 32 megawatts, which will replace imported counterparts at gas compressor stations.
The workshop has organized a full cycle of parts production – from blanks to finished gas turbine engine units.
UEC added that most technological processes are automated through the use of robotic systems, processing centers, and powerful machine tools. This improves the quality and increases the number of engines produced.
