New production of nozzle guide vanes for gas turbine engines launched in Russia

A full cycle of parts production has been organized in the "ODK-Kuznetsov" workshop – from blanks to finished power plant units

The United Engine Corporation (ODK) has commissioned a new production building at the ODK-Kuznetsov enterprise in Samara. Turbine wheels and nozzle guide vanes for aviation and industrial power plants are manufactured here.

Increasing production space will expand the production of industrial engines. Russian companies are interested in launching the production of the NK-36ST engine with a capacity of 32 megawatts, it will replace imported analogues at gas compressor stations.

The workshop has organized a full cycle of parts production – from blanks to finished gas turbine engine units.

ODK added that most technological processes are automated through the use of robotic systems, processing centers and powerful machine tools. This improves the quality and increases the number of engines produced.
