Lada Iskra готовится к выходу на рынок: седан и универсал позируют на общем фото

13 Pre-Production Units Have Already Been Assembled in Togliatti

Lada Iskra is preparing to debut: the sedan and wagon are shown side by side in a group photo. Sales are scheduled to begin in May 2025.

Fresh photos of pre-production units of the new Lada Iskra car have appeared online, presented in two body styles — sedan and wagon. Production of the model is already underway, but the official start of mass production is scheduled for April 19, 2025.

At the plant in Togliatti, 13 pre-production units were assembled last week, while the number of defects characteristic of this stage was significantly reduced — to 80 defects per car.

According to preliminary data, the acceleration dynamics of the model leave much to be desired. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes from 12.4 to 13.4 seconds, depending on the version, which is noticeably inferior to the Lada Granta, which accelerates to 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds in the top configuration. The maximum speed of the Iskra reaches 175 km/h, while the Granta has a top speed of 184 km/h. The fuel consumption of the Iskra ranges from 7.2 to 7.8 liters per 100 km.

AvtoVAZ has also prepared a special batch of Lada Iskra for the official press fleet, which means active promotion of the model in the media and its subsequent presentation to a wide audience.
