An unusual event is taking place at VDNH in Moscow in honor of International Women's Day. Autonomous robots "Piranha" and "Cargo Unit" travel around the territory of the innovation and education complex "Technograd", offering women bouquets of tulips, daffodils and mimosa.
The robots are equipped with modern cameras and sensors that help them avoid obstacles. A visual navigation system based on neural networks allows devices to accurately determine location and interact with the environment. During movement, artificial intelligence processes images, which allows robots to stop next to a woman and offer her to choose flowers. An operator monitors the safety of the process.
The event was organized by the Center for Unmanned Aviation and Robotics under the leadership of Maxim Kondratyev, as well as the companies "Droneshub Group" and "Technograd".
"Droneshub Group" is a Russian company engaged in the development and production of autonomous rovers and software since 2016. Their products are in demand both in Russia and abroad, which emphasizes the high level of technology and innovation in the field of robotics.
