The "Yandex Calendar" service has launched a mobile application that will help you keep track of your schedule and plan your activities without missing anything important. The application supports several calendars at once, such as personal and work calendars, and can even work without an internet connection.
In "Calendar", you can create and edit a wide variety of events: from going to the theater to meeting with colleagues. The service allows you to quickly find the things you need.
If a meeting is scheduled for video communication, "Calendar" will automatically create a "Telemost" link for all participants. To prevent personal and work matters from mixing, events from different calendars are highlighted in different colors.
In addition, "Calendar" has a dark theme that makes viewing less tiring for the eyes.
The calendar is easy to manage from your smartphone. To add a new event, simply click on the corresponding time slot. A long press on an event will allow you to move it to another time, and stretching and compressing will change the duration.
Reminders will help you not to miss an important meeting. You can customize them as you wish: specify how long before the start of the event to remind about it, and also choose the method of notification - email or push notification.
Planning activities in "Calendar" is very easy, even without the Internet - for example, on an airplane. You can view, edit, add new and delete unnecessary events without connecting to the network. As soon as the device is back in range, all changes will be synchronized with the server.
Travelers will appreciate another useful feature - the automatic transition of the calendar to local time when changing time zones. If you want to continue living in the old time, this option can be disabled in the settings.
The "Yandex Calendar" application is available for iOS and Android devices. iOS users can install a calendar widget, and this feature will soon be available on Android.
The developers plan to introduce a function in the application for scheduling meetings taking into account the participants' workload. New calendar display modes will also appear: for three days and for a week.
Earlier it became known that "Yandex" is actively working on creating a "reasoning" neural network, which is expected to be presented in 2025. This new artificial intelligence may find application in products such as "Search with Neuro" and "Alice".
