According to analysts, the total development costs may exceed 10 billion rubles. Other companies are also planning to use the "reasoning" algorithm in their new generations of artificial intelligence.

Neural networks capable of "reasoning" build complex internal logical chains, check themselves, and detect errors. This allows them to consider several approaches to solving one problem within a single answer.

Currently, there are several similar AIs on the international market. Among them are O3 from ChatGPT, DeepSeek R1, QwQ-32B-Preview from Alibaba, Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking from Google, and the latest Claude Sonnet 3.7 from Anthropic. There are no such models on the Russian market yet.

"Yandex" continues to improve its developments. Previously, the company introduced a powerful new generation language model, YandexGPT 5 Pro, into the chat with "Alice". Now, in a conversation with "Alice Pro", the user can solve a wide variety of tasks - from personal and educational to professional.

YandexGPT 5 Pro answers requests at the level of the best global counterparts, and in some types of tasks it surpasses their results.

Thanks to the introduction of the new model, "Alice Pro" has made significant progress in solving problems. She can now write code, perform mathematical operations, and logical tasks.

There have also been improvements in working with text. "Alice Pro's" answers have become more accurate, she adheres more precisely to the specified format, better structures information, and offers non-trivial ideas. If she needs additional data, she turns to sources that are most suitable for the Russian audience to provide the most relevant answer.

Now users can ask questions and receive answers not only in Russian, but also in English. For example, "Alice Pro" can write an essay or come up with a headline in English. This feature is especially useful for those who are learning the language or using it in their professional activities.

The model is already available on alice.yandex.ru and will soon appear in the "Alice" application. So that everyone can try out "Alice Pro" and the model itself, the number of free requests has been temporarily increased from 5 to 20 per day. There are no restrictions for users with a subscription to the Pro option.

Earlier, "Yandex" talked about updates that were added to the "Alice" voice assistant and the company's smart home devices. Now "Alice" is able to recognize several commands at once, provides a more detailed weather forecast, and alarms and reminders can be managed in one place - in the "House with Alice" application.
