The Ural Automobile Plant has begun production of the new Ural-80 truck. For the combination of high performance in power, maneuverability and cross-country ability it has already been called the successor to the legendary GAZ-66 "Shishiga".
The Ural-80 received a four-cylinder YaMZ-535 diesel engine with a capacity of 238 hp. The truck's axles are domestic, there is all-wheel drive. The carrying capacity of the car is 4 tons.
The car is equipped with a cab from the Ural Next, but features an original front end - the engine compartment was shortened, since a more compact engine is hidden under the hood.
