Haval Motor Manufacturing Rus LLC (the Russian car plant of Great Wall) has started creating a cluster for the production of automotive components in the Tula region. This was announced by the first deputy governor and chairman of the regional government, Mikhail Panteleev.
Haval Motor Manufacturing Rus has become the second largest car plant in the country in terms of production volume. Last year, 130,000 cars rolled off the assembly line. The company is now actively involved in the construction of a cluster for the production of automotive components.
The Haval assembly plant is located in the Uzlovaya industrial park. The company produces F7, Dargo, and Jolion crossovers.
In March 2024, a plant for the production of engines for Haval cars was put into operation. The enterprise will provide production and assembly of engines for more than 90% of Haval cars sold in Russia.
