Russia still does not cover more than half of its need for critical automotive components. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Anton Alikhanov.
In general, I can say that out of the 740 items of critical nomenclature that were formed in 2022, about 330 have been closed by Russian suppliers. Work on the remaining components continues, and we must complete it.
The head of the department also noted that it is necessary to create favorable conditions for domestic manufacturers of automotive components and importers. The possibility of strengthening tariff protection is being considered. At the same time, they will take into account that both budgetary funds and own investments of Russian companies were invested in the development of domestic analogues.
