The Russian "Berezhok" gun and missile combat module is adapted for installation on various models of both domestic and foreign armored vehicles.
Rosoboronexport emphasized that the development is proposed to improve the combat characteristics of infantry fighting vehicles of the first, second and third generations, as well as foreign tracked and wheeled vehicles.
For example, in Algeria, a tank support fighting vehicle was created on the chassis of the T-62, which had its heavy turret with a coaxial machine gun and a 115-mm gun replaced with the "Berezhok". It was equipped with a 30-mm rapid-fire automatic cannon 2A42, a 30-mm automatic grenade launcher AG-30M and a 7.62-mm PKTM.
To combat heavy armored vehicles, the "Berezhok" is equipped with launchers for the "Kornet" ATGM. The used ATGMs with tandem warheads are capable of destroying American Abrams, Leopard 2 and others.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the newest naval minesweeper "Anatoly Shlemov" destroyed BEC and mines in the Pacific Ocean with fire from the AK-306 artillery.
