The Russian Berezhok gun-missile combat module is adapted for installation on various models of both domestic and foreign armored vehicles.
Rosoboronexport emphasized that the development is proposed to improve the combat characteristics of infantry fighting vehicles of the first, second and third generations, as well as foreign tracked and wheeled models.
For example, in Algeria, a tank support combat vehicle was created on the chassis of the T-62, in which the heavy turret with a coaxial machine gun and a 115-mm gun was replaced with the Berezhok. It was equipped with a 30-mm rapid-fire automatic cannon 2A42, a 30-mm automatic grenade launcher AG-30M and a 7.62-mm PKTM.
To combat heavy armored vehicles, the Berezhok is equipped with Kornet ATGM launchers. The used ATGMs with tandem warheads are capable of destroying American Abrams, Leopard 2 and others.
