Lada Niva Sport will receive two engine versions, said the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov. The basic version will be equipped with a 1.6 liter 122 hp engine from Lada Granta Sport, and the top version will receive a 1.8 liter engine.
Thanks to the 144 hp engine, the Lada Niva Sport will be twice as powerful as it is now.
Sokolov confirmed the release of a special version of the Niva Sport called "Silk Road". This SUV was first shown back in the summer of last year.
The version was distinguished by a bright orange body, a trunk on the roof, combined interior trim and other original details. The novelty features sports settings for brakes and suspension.
