Crews of the Bastion coastal defense missile system (CDMS) of the Pacific Fleet conducted electronic launches of Onyx anti-ship missiles at mock targets simulating a group of enemy ships, the Ministry of Defense press service reported.
Mobile launchers left the field camp and deployed in the specified area of the Avacha Bay coast with pre-equipped positions.
After performing electronic launches of Onyx missiles at mock enemy ships, the missile crews covertly changed their firing position.
Bastion CDMS
The Bastion anti-ship missile system is a development of the Military-Industrial Corporation "NPO Mashinostroyenia" in two versions: the mobile Bastion-P and the stationary Bastion-S. The complex is designed to protect the sea coast.
The main tool for hitting targets of the Bastion is the launcher of the mobile complex on the MZKT-7930 chassis, which has two Onyx missiles with a warhead weighing 300 kg. They hit at a distance of up to 300 km at a speed of 680-750 m/s.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Forpost-RU drone will receive small-sized radars for guiding Kalibr missiles and loitering munitions.
