Warships to be armed with Supercam SX350 drones: they will help in targeting, including submarines

The high-speed horizontal flight of the UAV allows for the inspection of hard-to-reach extended objects

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) Supercam SX350 has been developed for the Russian Navy. The tiltrotor can be used from the deck of a ship.

SX350 is suitable for patrolling the water area and coastal zone, ensuring the safety of civilian vessels, ice reconnaissance, as well as for performing tasks in the interests of the Navy - targeting for warships, submarines and coastal missile systems.

Vertical take-off and landing, as well as the long high-speed horizontal flight of the SX350, allow for the inspection of hard-to-reach extended objects. The device can be controlled by one person, who can launch it from the surface in limited areas, including from the deck of a ship.
