He drew attention to the fact that the vehicle is equipped with a light modification of the anti-drone and anti-cumulative "visor", protecting the upper hemisphere of the turret from PG-7VS/VL shots and fragmentation grenades dropped by copters in conditions of saturation of the airspace with enemy drones.

The ammunition load of the 2A46M-5 smoothbore gun of the T-90MS tank includes (from left to right):

3BM60 Svinets-2 armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot projectile as part of 3VBM23 rounds and 4Zh96 Ozon-T propellant charges with armor penetration of 770-780 mm at an initial velocity of 1750 m/s;

3BM42M Lekalo armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot projectile with armor penetration of 670 mm and an initial velocity of 1750 m/s;

3BM42 Mango armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot projectile with armor penetration of 500 mm and an initial velocity of 1700 m/s;

3BK-18M HEAT projectile with armor penetration of 550 mm, 3OF26 high-explosive fragmentation projectile, and 125-mm 9M119M1 Invar-M anti-tank guided missile with a range of 5000 m and a semi-automatic laser-beam guidance system with armor penetration of 750 mm behind ERA.

The tank is equipped with a multi-channel gunner's sight "Sosna-U" with a detection range of a heat-contrast target of the "tank/BMP" type at night at a distance of 5000-5500 m and a classification range of about 4000-4500 m.

Earlier, www1.ru wrote that the T-90MS tank received multi-level protection against kamikaze drones and RPGs.
