The Forpost medium-range unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system is capable of receiving the function of dropping loitering munitions. This was announced by Ekaterina Zgirovskaya, an official representative of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA).
Currently, the Forpost in its strike version can carry gliding bombs or guided missiles, allowing strikes against both stationary and moving targets, including armored vehicles.
The developers are expanding the combat capabilities of the Forpost complex by improving its design and installing new payloads, including aviation weapons. These improvements are highly appreciated by the crews operating the complex and help them to solve their tasks with greater efficiency.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a special automatic shotgun cartridge against UAVs has been developed in Russia.
