The first serial Lada e-Largus station wagon was sold to a real buyer, the car has been registered with the State traffic inspectorate. This was announced by Dmitry Kostromin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at AvtoVAZ.
Serial production of e-Largus began in September 2024, but only one car has been registered to date. The electric version of the station wagon is still not available from dealers, as they found it unprofitable to sell the car in this modification.
Kostromin explained that the price of the e-Largus electric car turned out to be "difficult to implement" in Russia, given the competition from Chinese brands.
Lada e-Largus is the first Russian electric car with a domestic deep localization battery. It was first introduced in 2022, and on September 25, 2024, it was launched into mass production. Taking into account subsidies, the car will cost 2,990,000 rubles.
