The machine-building company Grunwald has launched an aluminum body plant in the Khrabrovo industrial park (Lugovoe village). This was reported by the press service of the Kaliningrad Region Development Corporation.
Builders have erected two production workshops with an area of 4,000 sq.m. The process of manufacturing aluminum bodies has been completely localized at this site. Some technical processes, including welding of body bases, have been robotized.
We plan to increase production of the most demanded models in agricultural transportation: dump semi-trailers with aluminum bodies with a volume of 44 and 52 m3.
The total investment in the plant amounted to 580 million rubles. Of these, 115 million rubles were invested in the robotization of production.
