At the HSE University, they have achieved stable operation of a next-generation (6G) wireless communication channel at sub-terahertz frequencies, reaching data transfer rates of 12 gigabits per second. This was reported by the university's press service.
We have shown that a 6G system can stably transmit data at the required frequencies and speeds. This is an important step for the development of communication technologies. In the future, we will work to make the system even more stable with the help of machine learning.
Russian physicists have developed algorithms that allow subscriber devices to identify sources of interference with a probability of 96-98% in just a few milliseconds.
The development has already attracted the interest of telecommunications companies. The creation of commercial devices capable of competing with foreign analogues is currently being discussed.
Earlier www1.ru reported that in Russia, they have learned to accelerate communication in 5G and 6G networks by tens of times.
