Rosoboronexport presented the Pantsir-S1M anti-aircraft missile and gun system at the Aero India 2025 forum. The system shoots down airplanes, helicopters, missiles, drones and even quadcopters, the export company noted.
Pantsir-S1M can be equipped with the latest TKB-1055 missiles, optimized in terms of "efficiency-cost" to engage small air targets at short ranges.
Pantsir-S1M received new anti-aircraft guided missiles (SAMs), due to which the target engagement range increased from 20 to 30 km and the altitude from 15 to 18 km, in general, the volume of the protected area increased by 3 times.
Along with the new SAMs, the complex can use missiles from the Pantsir-S1 complex. In addition, the stealth and noise immunity of combat operations have been increased, and the fire performance per unit of time has been improved.
Main characteristics of Pantsir-S1M using the example of hitting an aircraft with an effective scattering area of 2.5 m² and a flight speed of 300 m/s:
- Missile armament in range - 1200-30000 m, in height - 15-18000 m
- Cannon armament in range - 200-4000 m, in height - up to 3000 m
- Number of simultaneously fired targets - 4
- Maximum speed of targets hit - 1000 m/s
Earlier www1.ru reported that the super-drone "Vobla" was assembled for the Russian military from four UAVs.
