Alikhanov was shown the stages of development and production of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) using the example of "Geoscan 801". This is the first serial compact quadcopter for video monitoring.
The Minister inspected the Flight Control Center for small spacecraft, where he got acquainted with the nanosatellite platforms of the "cubesat" standard (dimensions 10×10×10 cm with a weight of no more than 1.33 kg) developed by "Geoscan".
Spacecraft of this type can be used for:
- training in the design, programming and assembly of satellites
- radio communication sessions
- flight tests of onboard systems and devices in near-Earth orbit
