An experienced prototype of the fifth-generation stealth fighter Su-57 of the first stage with the index T-50-4 arrived at the Indian Air Force airbase "Yelahanka". The combat aircraft will take part in the 15th International Aerospace Exhibition Aero India 2025.
The fighter crew will show visitors elements of super-maneuverability, achieved by the perfect integrated layout of the airframe with deflectable leading-edge extensions at the root parts of the wing, as well as AL-41F1 turbofan engines and a thrust-to-weight ratio of more than 1.2 kgf/kg.
Earlier it became known that the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant named after Yu. A. Gagarin will transfer a new version of the Su-57 to the Russian army in 2025. The company is increasing production capacity for the production of the latest combat vehicle.
The Su-57 is currently armed with serial-produced R-77M missiles and new guided hypersonic long-range air-to-air missiles R-37M. They reach speeds of six Mach and can hit aerodynamic targets flying at supersonic speeds of up to 2500 km/h. The range of such a missile is more than 350 km.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the "Kalibr" carrier submarine "Magadan" made a deep-sea dive off the coast of Kamchatka.
