The first flight of the import-substituted Ansat helicopter is scheduled for April 2025. This was announced by the head of Rosaviatsiya, Dmitry Yadrov.
Currently, work is underway to certify a new version of the helicopter with domestic components.
Currently, a number of bench tests have already been completed, including the static strength of the rotor. Therefore, we plan to complete this work by the end of this year, and the first flight is scheduled for April of this year in order to complete all this work.
According to Yadrov, helicopter aviation in Russia is of strategic importance. Helicopters not only transport people, but are also used to search for extinguishing fires and monitor various situations.
Of course, we have high hopes for the Ansat - with the understanding that as soon as we test it now, we will immediately enter the series for the VK-650 engine in real time, of course, we will immediately put it on board and start flying. There are still a number of small tests that we have to pass, but this is a technology that corresponds to the production of such an engine.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the newest Ansat helicopter received the Russian VK-650V engine.
