The "Cube" guided munition from the Kalashnikov arms concern has increased the combat range to 50 km. The military spoke about the characteristics of this strike drone.
First, the military installs the battery, then prepares the "Cube" warhead weighing 4 kg. The warhead with a special explosive is one and a half times more powerful than TNT. The drone itself consists of plywood and fiberglass, it does not have a camera, the loitering munition flies according to the specified parameters.
The silhouette of the drone resembles "Geran-2", but only in miniature. The "Cube" weighs somewhere 7-8 kg, and its wingspan is 120 cm. The accuracy of the "Cube" hits is almost 99%.
Flight range is 50 km. It is capable of destroying targets by coordinates: it is suitable for infantry, for lightly armored vehicles, because there is a high-explosive fragmentation charge.
Previously, the range of the "Cube" drone was about 25 km.
