Tsifra Group has developed a robotic complex for BelAZ-7513R dump trucks that operate at the Izykhsky coal mine in Khakassia. Thanks to the complex, the productivity of the equipment has increased.
After retraining, the dump truck driver becomes an operator. One person can control several machines.
With the help of the robotic complex, the operator plans the route of the BelAZ-7513R, and also monitors the performance and technical condition of the dump truck.
Mikhail Aronson, head of Tsifra Group, said that there is a shortage of personnel in the mining industry in Russia.
More than 70% of our customers in the mining industry have noted the lack of personnel as one of the main development problems in the last 2 years.
The success of the robotization of BelAZ-7513R at the Izykhsky coal mine will help scale this experience to the country's mining operations, he added.
